addedHey everyone,Due to the currently high player numbers, I’m being a bit more careful with updates and changes at the moment as a solo developer to avoid introducing new problems or overlooking something. Since the game is also available on multiple platforms and stores, such as Epic Games, all changes need to be carefully coordinated and tested.
changedSwinging Punch BallI had to rework the punch ball. The reason for this was that it could be exploited for a glitch that allowed players to fly all the way to the top of the map.
addedSwinging Punch BallYou will still get hit by the punch, but the glitch should no longer be possible now. In addition, I added a small delay to the ball’s sound effect so the sound doesn’t constantly trigger on impact.
addedCheckpointsWith the last update, I tried to find a small compromise by adding additional checkpoints to the starting area. However, I later realized that this ended up making the game a bit too easy again. Because of that, I removed one checkpoint, as I already considered it unnecessary since it was too close to the other checkpoints.
addedLeaderboardI’ve already made several improvements here to reduce the issue. However, I’m pretty sure that new ways and methods will probably be found for this as well.

Hey everyone,

I’ve made a few more small improvements and fixed some issues.

Info

Due to the currently high player numbers, I’m being a bit more careful with updates and changes at the moment as a solo developer to avoid introducing new problems or overlooking something. Since the game is also available on multiple platforms and stores, such as Epic Games, all changes need to be carefully coordinated and tested.

Swinging Punch Ball

I had to rework the punch ball. The reason for this was that it could be exploited for a glitch that allowed players to fly all the way to the top of the map.

You will still get hit by the punch, but the glitch should no longer be possible now. In addition, I added a small delay to the ball’s sound effect so the sound doesn’t constantly trigger on impact.

Checkpoints

I’ve also made some adjustments here. Right now, many players feel that the game is too difficult and want more checkpoints, while others think that this makes the game too easy.

With the last update, I tried to find a small compromise by adding additional checkpoints to the starting area. However, I later realized that this ended up making the game a bit too easy again. Because of that, I removed one checkpoint, as I already considered it unnecessary since it was too close to the other checkpoints.

Leaderboard

I think by now everyone has noticed that the leaderboard boards constantly displayed times of 0. Of course, this is very frustrating for players who want to test their limits and set fair records without being disrupted by unfair methods.

I’ve already made several improvements here to reduce the issue. However, I’m pretty sure that new ways and methods will probably be found for this as well.

Global Leaderboard

The global leaderboard had several synchronization issues. Since the system was still fairly new, these problems only really became noticeable once so many players started playing the game at the same time.

I’ve now reworked the leaderboard and fixed the issues. From now on, your records should be displayed correctly again.

Info: The global leaderboard is cross-platform. Your records are displayed together regardless of the platform you play on.

Pipe Maze

There was a spot here where you had to restart completely from the beginning if you fell onto the rock. As a small consolation, I placed the beloved mattress there.

This should at least give you the chance to climb back onto the wagon. And since the mattress is, as we all know, absolutely precise and not frustrating at all, this should obviously be no problem.

Achievements

I made a small change so that you will now be notified immediately once you unlock an achievement.

A small note regarding the golden rabbit: Some people mentioned that they didn’t receive it. You need to collect the carrot at the end in order to unlock the achievement and properly complete the run.

The passage to the golden staircase only stops the timer and prepares the fireworks for you.

General

I’ve made a few additional small adjustments to the level.

Coming Soon: Main Menu – Settings

I read your messages, wishes, and suggestions here and there. Disabling the bloom effect as well as additional mouse settings will be added during development. Please be a little patient!
