Peekaboo

Short animated movie from the Origami world of upcomming indie game Bukkaku. Telling the story of a short life of certain wood creature living in tough world, that after unexpected circumstaces discovers an enormous power inside him self. Live with Bugaboo his story full of terror and pain in magical surface of the Wood or in monster filled depths. "Bugaboo" is a cute creature with terrifying features resembling wraith or monster.

I was working for over a year on animation. Graphical elements are comming from origami polygonal style and since the begining of game creation i am constantly improving on it and shaping it to detail and more specific image. It is sharp origami angles combined with live colors of Maxican flavor. Short animated horror movie "Peekaboo" is actually supose to symbolize the playful side of the game. Significant part of the game is about hiding and searching.
