Update 1.5048 – Patch Notes

Highlights

  • Significantly reduced RAM and VRAM usage.

  • Numerous graphics bug fixes and performance optimizations.

  • Reworked 2D UI assets for a lighter, faster interface.

  • Balance adjustments across all levels.

  • Immigrants arrive 50% faster (they’re lightly jogging now - and that’s good!).

Performance & Stability

  • Lower spikes in system memory (RAM) during long sessions.

  • Better video memory (VRAM) management on lower-capacity GPUs.

  • Fewer micro-stutters during autosaves and asset streaming.

Graphics

  • Fixed multiple lighting and shadow artifacts

  • Reduced distant object flicker and corrected LOD issues.

  • Unified color tuning for certain buildings and decorations.

Interface (UI)

  • Rebuilt parts of the 2D set (icons, panels, backgrounds) for better compression and batching.

  • Reduced UI texture sizes; menus and previews load faster.

  • Minor readability tweaks: contrast, padding, and element alignment.

Gameplay

  • Immigration: +50% arrival speed (people walk faster).
