Repeated intro
Hello everyone! It's DeMarco again here to tell you some very exciting news, and, if you keep reading, some fun little info about what we've been up to as a studio! I love writing these, and I'm very excited to bring more news to you all! :)

Buddy Simulator 1984 changes
Trading Cards, Backgrounds, Badges, and Emoticons!
First thing's first, we're very excited to introduce some Steam content for those of you who are interested in collecting some Buddy Simulator-related content for your Steam profile! I drew 15 cards trying my best to recapture my interpretations of the characters. It was nice using my dusty drawing tablet for a change haha!
In addition to the trading cards, Vince put together the rest of the steam content--compiling backgrounds, some shiny badges, and reformatting some sprites we worked on for the game into fun little emoticons! It was really fun for us to revisit the game in this way, and I'm oddly very excited for this content drop. Even if it may feel small, it feels very special for us to be able to give you, our wonderful community.
What We've Been Up To
Whew, release has been a wild ride, and we couldn't be more thankful for the support we've been given! Since release, we've taken a few moments to return to our real lives and spend time with our families. I've been managing my finances and slowly working on the trading cards, Brandon and Vince were finishing up their degrees and each graduated college within these past couple months while working on Buddy Sim stuff on the side, and Josh has been getting ready to move in with his girlfriend as well as consistently being on top of our company emails. In regards to the studio, we've been working at slow, comfortable paces as we recover a little from the game's development. We've been keeping up with fanart and YouTube videos and are so appreciative of all of the work you have put towards showing off our game. It's very touching and I can't describe how amazing the love has been. <3
The Future of Buddy Simulator 1984
While there is a lot we still need to discuss as a company regarding the future of our game and studio, we still do have plans to update the game and address the bug reports we've been getting in our forums and on our Discord. While much can't be said quite yet, we are very grateful to all of you who have taken the time to report these bugs. You have no idea how amazing it is for the patience and understanding you all have given us.
Q&A Saturday!
Don't forget that Saturday at 2pm CDT (Chicago time) we will be hosting another Discord Q&A where you can come and chat with us, the developers! Ask us anything you like from Buddy Sim to video games to food to music. If you cannot attend the event but are still interested in all of the questions that will be asked, we will have some of our wonderful mods write down or video all of the questions after! We hope to see you then!
Another Huge Thank You!
I probably sound like a broken record, but thank you, from the bottom of all of our hearts for the tremendous love and support you've given our game. Having Overwhelmingly Positive reviews is such a blessing, and I wish I could respond to and thank every individual person who has taken the time to review our game. Thanks again for everything, everyone. We plan on keeping in touch with our community more, hosting game nights, keeping tabs with fanart, and even doing a drawpile! Feel free to join us, we'd love to have you :)
