Buddies in Boxes changes
NEW
Added the "Gold Rush" scenario as well as a new background.
Added "Elephant" as a new playable character.
Added the "Miner" job.
Added 3 new skills to both the "Banker" and "Robber" jobs.
Added 3 new neutral skills.
Added 8 new market foods.
Added phase indicators (Start, Skill, Market) for clarity.
Job Skills and Conditions can now be selected in Freeplay Mode.
BALANCE
"Loan" will now attempt to give the Banker 4 coins instead of 3. Loan was a little bit too slow and weak in comparison to the innate skills of other jobs. In some cases, Bankers are waiting 3 rounds before seeing any payoff from using this skill. This adjustment levels the playing field by a little bit.
"Green Thumb" cost increased by 1. Green Thumb was a little bit too cheap for its dual functionality of raking in appeal points and providing the player with Wildberries. A slight increase will help slowdown the effectiveness of this skill.
"Weed Whack" cost increased by 1. Gardener has proven to be incredibly fast at earning appeal points. Most of this appeal-earning speed can be attributed to the Weed Whack skill. Increasing this cost by 1 continues the effort of slowing Gardeners down and bringing them in line with other jobs.
"Cheese" cost increased by 1. Stats given increased by 1. Cheese is a more valuable food item with this change. This consequently increases the value of other foods and skills such as Milk and Mouse Trap, both of which are capable of giving the player Cheese while bypassing the cost. This felt appropriate as Milk and Mouse Trap were relatively underpowered.
BUG FIXES
Fixed an issue that occasionally caused the AI to stall indefinitely on their turn.
