Buckshot Battlemage changes
With 10+ reviews, Mage Tower Massacre has now reached a positive rating on Steam! Massive thanks to anyone who left a review for the game. For those unfamiliar with Steam's algorithms, games get a massive boost in visibility in the store and discovery queue once they hit 10+ reviews. By leaving a review, you help the game (and me) out immensely! I've really been enjoying talking with those who have played the game and who are shooting for all the achievements.
Mage Tower Massacre is my first game and first release on Steam. The game is content complete, but I plan to keep supporting the game with updates and bugfixes for the foreseeable future. Here are some of the currently planned updates:
[BUGFIX] Reduce collision size of fat dudes so they can fit through tight areas better
Improved menus/UI for ultrawide displays
Increase visibility of enemy projectiles
Option to delete save and erase player progress through the menu
"How To Play" page
Improved art and character bios in the extras page for the 3 elite enemy types
an actual reward for achieving 3 million points (spoiler: the current reward is a bit of a middle finger)
new enemy types? (maybe...)
