Bru & Boegie: Episode 1 - Demo Incoming!
Welcome, friends! Some exciting Bru & Boegie news in this post!
I plan to submit a demo for Steam’s NextFest that happens in October, where the eyeballs of an entirely new audience will be exposed to Bru’s extremely bright tighty whities, intended to dazzle and amaze.
The Steam version features improved audio treatment and balancing, re-processed voices and some new environmental audio effects. There’s also 14 Steam Achievements and Steam Cloud Saves, so players should be able to sync saves across devices, and play the demo and continue their progress in the full game. I'm planning to add more options too. The Steam version will by far be the best way to experience the game.
I plan to launch the free public Steam demo next month in August, and then the full game on October 29 this year.

'Bru & Boegie: EPISODE 2 - Get da SUGAR!' Announced!
Episode 2 picks things up directly after the events of Episode 1. It'll be time to 'Get da SUGAR!'. I've completed much of the story outlining and plan to start production on it once I'm done with Episode 1's launch preps.
Episode 2 is shaping up to be roughly twice the length of Episode 1, also featuring a fully-voiced cast and original soundtrack, with even more ridiculous characters and environments and puzzles - overall, more of the good stuff. I have plans for the Episode 3 finale too, but one thing at a time.

At least 60 user playthrough videos of 'Get da MILK!' on YouTube
Something that brought a smile to me was seeing how many people (unprompted) posted their playthroughs on YouTube, including a fairly big YouTuber called GrayStillPlays who has over 8mil subs. His video (shared above, the thumbnail is pretty sus) is hilarious, and has over 640k views. Watching people laugh whilst playing the game is very rewarding.

Episode 1 is #7 in itch.io Top 20 Games for April
I was thrilled to discover that Bru & Boegie: EPISODE 1 is #7 for itch.io ’s Top 20 games for April. The itch.io launch couldn’t have gone better - plenty people have played it (34.5k) and downloaded it (4.1k), it got very generous reviews (over 200, avg 4.8/5 ⭐️) and comments, and the game was added to lots-o-collections (1485). Thank you to itch.io for the punt.
Bru & Boegie 2025 MEGA UPDATE Video
I recently posted a video detailing all my videogame and animation Bru & Boegie updates, including my 10-min animated Bru & Boegie short ‘ METEORITE ’ that I completed animation on a couple of weeks ago. I decided this year to focus on my own projects, so I’ve ONLY been doing Bru & Boegie work - it’s been fantastic, all-consuming, and there’s always more to do!
