Deckbuilder Mode
At the start of each run, players can now choose between Poker Mode and Deckbuilder Mode.
Deckbuilder Mode removes some of the game's traditional Hold'em mechanics, such as the Pot, betting/raising and the ship's hand. All related booties, tonics and badges are not obtainable.
It's designed for players who want to focus on the deckbuilding aspect of Broadside Bets... rather than actually playing poker.
Deckbuilder Mode does not make the game easier in any way, so definitely give it a try if you enjoy a more classic roguelike deckbuilding experience.
Gameplay Changes:
Crewmates are no longer limited to 1 movement per phase. They can now be moved freely until they attack
Pot attacks can now miss, same as normal cannon attacks
Added a different version of the Crusader boss for Deckbuilder Mode
Improvements:
Improved visibility of betting and popup buttons
The End-Turn button is now highlighted, once all Crewmates have attacked
Removed target markers for untargetable enemies
More hover tooltips for many UI elements like the betting buttons
Added a currency gain effect on selling booty
Improved the card wiggle animation on selection and activation
Hover small cards to see the larger version
Removed constantly changing card on the sail hand view
Fixed some typos
SFX and VFX for enemy reflection damage
Added a hover tooltip for the Wounded Dragon explosive barrels
Balance Changes:
King's Skull: attacks x3 -> x2
Honey pot: pot +2 -> +1
Captain's Pot: default pot 10 -> 6
King's Horn: attacks +7 -> +5
- King's Ribcageadjusted to match the new pot mechanics
