Broad Sword changes
Greetings commanders!
For this update we are taking a look at the siege maps for Broad Sword, but first a bit of housekeeping. Steam Next Fest went well and some of the player feedback focused on improving the visual indicators on when you are damaging your opponent. So to help with this a damage particle effect has been added where each droplet represents 1HP of damage. Some previously silent abilities have also had audio added to them.
Also, with the release date coming up quick I'm happy to announce we will be launching on March 21st! So without further delay let's get into the siege maps!
Siege Map Pool
Coastal Fort
One of many forts guarding the coastlines and rivers of the kingdom. The sturdy walls should protect against all but the most determined of attackers.
Wizard's Tower
High up in the mountains this wizard's tower is used by a magical order to tap into the elemental forces that surge through the area. It's a highly strategic area and must be defended.
Keep
The outer perimeter may have fallen, but that doesn't mean the fight is over. This central keep is beset on all sides by siege towers, but it will not fall easilly!
Terraces
The underground kingdoms of the Dwarves may not lend themselves to normal fortifications, but they can still claim the high ground in this multitiered siege with a high ground and low ground that must be defended as siege towers approach the cliffsides.
