Development Progress
Below is the next to be completed mechanic in the game as well as what the next steps will be. If you want to follow along a bit more we will be interacting with our discord more here in the coming weeks so feel free to pop in and say hello!
Fleeing Mechanic
This mechanic sets it to where if you or your gang intimidate any of the citizens such as rob, shoot, or any other violent acts towards them, then they will flee from both you and your gang members. This sets the tone that you can absolutely set a mark in your turf.
Next Steps
Below are the next stages of development we will be working on aside from the bug fixes.
Combat
We will be enhancing the current combat mechanics across the board.
First we will be enhancing the melee combat across the board. Threatened locals will begin to fight back against the robbing and violence if they are subjected to it. Some will flee but others will no longer stand for it.
Once this is completed we will focus on the shooting mechanics with the AI so that rival gang members will begin actually moving in on your turf. This will also lay the foundation for future updates!
Game Tag Changes
Removed Tags
We removed the PVP tag for the time being as the multiplayer portion will take a bit longer to make than anticipated. We will be adding it in the future but did not want to mislead anyone to purchase the game on launch if we did not have it yet.
We are still planning on releasing a co-op mode on launch, the details of this are to be released!
We also removed the steam workshop tag just until we prep the game for a state to be altered.
Keep in mind, all removed tags will be added in the future, we just wanted to avoid any misrepresentation to buyers!
