Brew changes
Update 1.1.0 is live!
First major Brew update is ready to be played! We bring you new post-endgame challenge, more rewards and a new enemy! As well as addressing some of the feedback from the community!
PATCH NOTES
Ambition Board
More Post-Game content and more challenge were highly sought after by the community, so we've added an Ambition Board!
After defeating the final boss, a new board will appear beside the entrance to The Tower. Here, you will be able to add extra challenges and modifiers to the run, unlocking new cosmetics and more permanent star points for the skill tree after completing a more challenging run.
With the Ambition Board, you can get new hats and the skill point cap goes from 15 -> 30.
Tower Guide
While inside The Tower, you might see a new enemy! Defeat this little slime in time before he runs away and he’ll drop some loot for you!
Hats
All of the hats now have STATS! These are small bonuses to your character so you can more easily go for a specific build or mess around with a slight variation in your run.
And many new hats have arrived at Remy's Thousand Hats!
Potion tweaks
We saw a lot of feedback from the community that some of the potions felt a bit lacking compared to others as well as the fact that throwing potions tends to be worse than loading or drinking them, and we agree!
So we’ve given some much needed love to some of the potion that felt a bit weak. We also systematically buffed almost all of the lingering throw effects to make them feel more impactful and fun.
Water throw:
Size and duration throw increased,
Duration: 8s -> 20s,
Radius 550 -> 825,
Fire throw:
Lingering burning area increased duration: 10s -> 24s,
Lightning throw:
increased duration: 10s -> 15s,
Ice throw:
increased duration: 20s -> 27s,
Health increased,
Size increased,
Lightning gun
doesn't have to be reloaded anymore and total ammo is increased.,
magazine size: 26 -> 128, total ammo: 78 -> 128,
Ice gun
magazine size: 24 -> 30, total ammo: 96 -> 120,
Accuracy doesn't decrease as fast as previously (while shooting),
Slightly lower base accuracy,
Increased freeze build-up by 50%,
Ice dash
20% resistance to all damage while skating,
Skating duration increased: 3s -> 6s,
Lightning Crystal (ingredient)
Single target -> AOE Stun in radius,
Stun duration 2s -> 5s,
Earthy Mound (ingredient)
Delay before shield is converted to health 3s->6s,
Shield to health conversion 1x -> 0.4x,
Snowcrawler Horn (ingredient)
Damage when shield shatters: 8 -> 12,
Other tweaks
We’ve also made some quality of life improvements based on community feedback.
Tweaked the leveling up system so that reaching the max level is less tedious.,
An infinite vending machine has been added to the training grounds, for potion testing before the run.,
Loaded Potion bullets will no longer be used up when you are outside of combat. Break those barrels without worry!,
Potion Drink timer will be paused when outside of combat.,
Between floors Challenges have received new UI icons.,
Between floors Challenge options have decreased from 3 to 2.,
Added Hub music to the Intro Room.,
Visual tweaks
Shield guy jump attack visual fix for his ground crack decal,
Devana trail visual improvement,
Multiple vfx shaders have received minor performance improvements,
Enemy character shader performance improvement,
Bug fixes
The revive widget doesn't disappear anymore,
Enemies that can jump don't fly around the room anymore when dying.,
Other various bug fixes.,
