About the project
Hi! This is Vlad, one of the developers of BRESH.
We are making the game together with Danil, the second developer on the project. We haven’t posted any news for a long time — that’s my fault. At some point, the Steam page took a back seat, but development itself has not stopped.
Right now, due to circumstances, Danil can’t take part in development as often, so most of the work on the game is currently on me. The pace has become slower, but development continues!
The demo version of the game is working and still being updated. You can download it and play it! At the moment, the online player base is small, so players usually find each other through our Discord or Telegram communities.
I’m not very good at making fancy Steam news posts, so for now this one will be without GIFs and extra images.
What has changed since the first demo version:
Bots have been added for offline and online play. They are still pretty dumb for now.
Crosshair customization has been added.
Basic character customization has been added.
The game has been released on the App Store. (Crossplay is not available yet. Only in Russia and Kazakhstan regions now)
A small tutorial has been added to the in-game menu.
A mode has been added where you can play on experimental maps, such as “MANOR”.
A “Quick Game” option has been added to the main menu, allowing you to quickly choose a server or start an offline game with bots.
Server hosts can now kick players.
Critical bugs with crashes after changing maps and with planting the bomb have been fixed.
And a MILLION other small changes.
What is planned for the near future?
Release on Google Play. Internal testing is already underway.
Cross-platform play, with the requirement of using a mouse and keyboard on phones/tablets.
Weapon reskins are on the way.
Improving bots for the bomb mode.
Finishing the experimental map.
On Saturdays at 18:00 MSK, we try to gather players online. It doesn’t always work out, but feel free to join — with you, it will work more often and be more fun!
