Breaking Survivors is 2 years old already and it's time for a new update that brings a Boomerang Ball buff/rework as well as a couple minor QoL improvements and optimizations.
Changelog
Boomerang Ball Buff/Rework
Boomerang Ball's player aiming has been improved by 20% on T2 and 33% on T3. This means the ball are less likely to miss the paddle.
Boomerang & Homing Balls are no longer incompatible with each other.
Boomerang Ball is now Orange instead of Green. This reflects the incompatibility removal & making Boomerang & Homing truly distinct.
Other Stuff
Added an Anti-Aliasing setting.
Standardized the names of Balls T2/T3 upgrades.
Adjusted a couple balls upgrade descriptions.
Random Balls in German and 2nd Chance Balls in Spanish have had their names changed to be a bit shorter.
Fixed 2nd Chance Balls' trails being slightly longer than other balls.
A bunch of minor performance optimizations, mainly on the rendering. The game already was pretty lightweight in performance, but still those kind of improvements never hurt, especially for handheld devices such as the Steam Deck.
Some build size optimization. On Windows, the game went from 140MB to 134MB, with similar weight reduction on Linux.
Fixed an Unity security issue.
On other news, Breaking Survivors is discounted at -50% this week as part of the Bullet Heaven 3.0 Festival. You can find many other games in the Bullet Heaven/Survivors-like on its event page.
