SEASONALS
Seasonal Championships are back. Taking place in February, May, July, and September there will be four seasonal championships this year
Seasonal Championships take place over two weekends. The first weekend is a singles competition. This pits player against player in a regional online double elimination bracket.
The second weekend celebrates the rich doubles tradition of the game. You’ll need to sign up with a friend to compete at being the best 2v2 team in your region.
Seasonal Schedules follow the same schedule each weekend:
Friday: Middle East & Southeast Asia
Saturday: Europe & South America
Sunday: North America
INTERNATIONAL SUPPORT
Brawlhalla esports has a global following and we are excited to be able to support our greater international audience. Last year we introduced support for the Middle East server region and this year we are expanding that support. The Middle East region last year had two officially supported events, a singles tournament, and a doubles tournament. In year 10, the Middle East will be receiving support for four seasonal events, in both game modes.
This brings the Middle East in line with Southeast Asia, who will continue to receive official support this year.
ROYALES
Introduced in 2022 as an extension of the seasonal events, the Brawlhalla Seasonal Royales are small intimate invitationals that bring together the top players of our three primary regions for an in-person tournament. In year 10, we are increasing the number of Royales from two to four. Six players total, two from North America, two from South America, and two from Europe, will qualify for each of these events by placing in the top two of the associated Seasonal Championship. The players will be invited to the Royale and if they are able to make it, they will be flown to the event.
At the Royale, players will participate in a media day, which will include: interviews, games, some live streams, and more. Players will also compete against each other in the regular Royale tournament format.
There is one special Royale this year. The Winter Royale which will be hosted at Max Mode in Atlanta, Georgia. This event will have an open doubles tournament, an open last chance qualifier, and a full day of Royale competition.
The specifics of the format can be found below:
Friday: Doubles Tournament – bring a friend, this is open to all.
Saturday: Last Chance Qualifier – Open to all, this is a singles, double elimination tournament where the top 2 players qualify into the Royale the next day.
Sunday: Royale day – A round robin tournament, with some double elimination at the end. Eight players will have entered and only one will walk away a monarch.
To be eligible for a Royale invite, players must be 16 years of age or greater.
COMMUNITY
The Brawlhalla Community Tournament Initiative returns in its 5th year. Since its inception in 2020, the program has awarded over $500,000 in prize money to the community and the program is still going strong. In Year 10, we are excited
