New Rotation

  • Asuri is in the rotation for the first time this week!

Dodge Changes

  • Last two frames of dodging that were no longer invulnerable are now invulnerable again (effectively +2 iframes).

  • Dodging through an item will cause you to be immune to the item until you leave its hitbox so that throws don't catch you post dodge.

  • Dodging item throws does not have a startup times (Item hits already have some delay for lag prevention).

  • We intend to continue to look at and tweak dodge as we collect player feedback.

Community Requests

  • You can now see when other players are typing.

  • You can now manually choose your victory and defeat taunts in the inventory screen.

  • PC Support for HORI Fighting Commander 4.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug that was causing the ELO animation to not play at the end of a 1v1 or 2v2 match.

  • Fixed a crash when spectating 2v2 matchmaking.

  • Fixed the thrown item animation so that the head does not separate from the body.

  • Fixed a bug that would disconnect you right as the matchmaking queue popped if you had paused the game for too long.

  • Fixed a bug where Big Rig Bodvar's teeth would be black with the black color swap.

  • Fixed a bug in 2v2 where your opponent would be Blue and Red.

  • Fixed more cases where you could fall into the Enigma.

  • Fixed a bug that got the player stuck in the Blackguard platforms (unable to jump).

  • Fixed a bug where the store dummy head icon would show up in level select instead of random.

  • Fixed a bug where a player could falsely be flagged as inactive and not receive any xp or gold rewards.

  • Lucien Side BlastersFixed some cases where target could be dropped before the final hit. Credit Th3ethanator, Tho76.
  • Fixed bug causing the text on the "next" and "back" buttons in the scoreboard screen to display incorrectly when mousing over them.

  • White Color Scheme description now correctly says "It even has a silver trim." instead of "gold trim."

2v2 Colors

  • Removed Grey and Black as okay.

  • Removed Red and Brown as okay.

  • Added Blue and Brown as okay.

  • Added Blue and purple as okay.

UI

  • Spectator queue overlay now looks like the one for regular matchmaking queues.

  • White and black color swap icons have been updated to match the new white and black colors.

  • Scoreboard podiums have been updated with the new podium artwork from the character select screen.
