Balance Changes

Status effects

Bleed and Poison damage is too high, making the strategies that abuse them too overpowered. With these changes, they will still be strong, but not as dominant. There might be additional changes to these status effects in future patches, but it's better to do them gradually to see how they affect the game first.

Bleed

  • Damage per stack: 3% of max health >>> 2.5% of max health

Poison

  • Damage per stack: 2% of max health >>> 1.75% of max health

Trinkets

Spider Bite

  • Chance to apply Poison on strike: 100% >>> 60%

Enemies

Spirited Archer Lizard

  • Now appears from Sector 1 onwards (was from Sector 2 onwards before this patch)

  • Max Health: 120 >>> 85

  • Spirit: 15 >>> 10

Battlemage

  • Now appears from Sector 2 onwards (was from Sector 1 onwards before this patch)

  • Intellect: 20 >>> 15

  • Spirit: 40 >>> 25

  • Speed: 9 >>> 7

  • Max Health: 120 >>> 150

Stone Battlemage

  • Max Health: 150 >>> 140

Battlemage Warleader

  • Luck: 10 >>> 15

  • Defense: 50 >>> 60

Bug Fixes

  • The status effect descriptions in the detailed card view screen have been moved to the left to have space for up to 4 status effect descriptions.

  • The "Incoming damage" text no longer appears in the status effect descriptions when inspecting cards that inflict Bleed or Poison in the Codex.

  • Many cards that didn't show the related status effect descriptions when inspecting them now show them correctly.
