First off I want to thank everyone who has provided feedback on the current playtest builds.
If you haven't already, I'd love to hear from everyone who has played public playtest build here on steam or itch. Click here to go to the feedback form.
Moving on, I've uploaded a new build of the playtest this weekend, besides numerous small and minor changes and bug fixes, it includes additional Augments that are now implemented, a quick action mode, and lasers.
Here are two of the new augments. The first is the dead switch which lets dead agents contribute to the fight by turning them into proximity mines. If they have C4 charges in their inventory they increase in power.
Second is the mordake cyclopes which by surgically grating one eye on the back of the agents head gives them vision behind them at the cost of smaller field of vision forward.
As for the Lasers, they are just fun, they melt through wall, enemies, and players alike. But that power comes at the cost of low ammunition and slow reloading.
The quick action mode, lets players quickly outfit agents with equipment and augments before jumping into any mission they want. Its still rough but it lets you get into the action without dealing with all the agent and mission management elements that will be in the city conquest mode.
I'm going to try and make these updates and build uploads more consistent.
