Hi all, thank you all for playing again, we have another bug fixing patch for you today. We are working hard on listening to feedback and applying changes and bugfixes as fast as we possibly can. Here are the changes for this patch:
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where painted posters would not hold their save state correctly. - Fixed an issue with playtime from games metadata being overwritten. - Changed the metadata "loaded" state on games to be based on whether it has a name, rather than relying on a box art URL. - Fixed a subscription leak on the Games Box which could cause issues if games are readied while the player carries it. - Reworked and refactored saving/loading of game data across various objects, fixing several previously reported bugs. - Fixed a potential issue with stale game playtimes, which was previously only checked when gathering metadata from Steam. - Fixed an issue where triggering an autosave while games were loaded onto shelves would write those shelf slots as empty, preventing the games from spawning. - Fixed an issue where quitting during a level load could wipe parts of the unloaded save data. - Improved handling of cases where Steam is not initialized, allowing users to manually enter their Steam ID to pull down owned games. - Fixed an issue where painting a wall would paint the opposite side of the wall. - Fixed an incorrect wallpaper image in the catalogue. - Fixed overlapping text in the catalogue on some pages. - The mouse pad now sits properly on top of objects. - Fixed the notebook icon. - Bunk beds can now be painted. - The light switch is now placed correctly.
We think we should have solved the majority of save issues here, but please do tell us if you find more bugs, we are listening!
