Ahead of the launch of Boxed In on PlayStation, we have updated the game with the following additions and improvements:

  • Achievements

There are now 51 Steam Achievements for you to unlock.

  • Localisation

You can play in English, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, German, French, Japanese or Italian.

  • Support for more VR headsets

The game detects Oculus Quest (1 and 2), Oculus Rift, Valve Index, HTC Vive and HTC Cosmos

  • Controller Vibration

Whether you're playing in VR or not, if your controller supports vibration...we rumble it!

  • VR Seated Play Improvements

You can now turn in the virtual world without turning in the real world.

  • VR Comfort Options

We added a "Blank screen when falling" option which is turned on by default.

  • VR Depth Perception Improvements

To make it easier to determine if blocks are aligned, we added a white border to the cubes.

  • Audio Re-design

When music was turned off, the game was eerily quiet. We have fixed that by adding suitable ambient sounds. In Survival mode, when music is on, we modify the music to add to the tension (it's subtle but it does the trick)!

  • Optimised

The game will run much faster on all machines.

  • Bug Fixes

If you were really, REALLY good at the game, it was possible to have the blocks moving so fast in Survival that the game crashed. Not any more!

  • Some TLC (Tender Loving Care)

We have polished the game into a much more enjoyable experience.
