changedAfter the release, I returned to this game and didn't like some elements that were in it and worked on a big overhaul. The previous iteration of the game had automation elements, but I just felt like it didn't belong in this game. Customer interactions were also not the way I wanted them anymore. Previously, random characters would come and buy random items (or based on some artificial market), but I wanted more story and dialogue.

changedNow, the game looks the way I wanted it to be. You will still take over a robot workshop and do a whole bunch of crafting and gathering, but also meet and interact with a bunch of characters. There is also an overall story that you'll follow.

It's been a while. Last year, I took a break from Bots & Mods to create my first released game, Book Bound.
After the release, I returned to this game and didn't like some elements that were in it and worked on a big overhaul. The previous iteration of the game had automation elements, but I just felt like it didn't belong in this game. Customer interactions were also not the way I wanted them anymore. Previously, random characters would come and buy random items (or based on some artificial market), but I wanted more story and dialogue.

Now, the game looks the way I wanted it to be. You will still take over a robot workshop and do a whole bunch of crafting and gathering, but also meet and interact with a bunch of characters. There is also an overall story that you'll follow.
