changedAhoj! It’s been a while since we posted something in the Botanicula news channel, so I’m really glad to be back with some good news. Yes, 7 years after its initial release in 2012, Botanicula is finally getting a full-screen HD treatment, which basically means it’s going to look much better on your recent high-resolution displays, even if it’s a nice and shiny 4K monitor. It even takes up less space on your hard drive, juchu! The game still runs in the same engine, so you don’t need to worry about losing your save files. The update is now live for everyone! World Environment Day Botanicula is also part of the Steam World Environment Day Sale , along with Samorost 3, Fugl, Mountain, Subnautica and many other great games, in support of organizations like Greenpeace, World Land Trust or The Nature Conservatory. In addition, One Tree Planted will plant a tree for each copy of Playne sold during the event. I am happy to announce that we are donating 50% of our proceeds from this sale to DUHA, a Czech environmental movement saving the wilderness. Read more about DUHA on their website .
