addedThe DetailsCertainly some forward momentum occurred, mostly on more bite sized tasks like bug fixes, performance tweaks, and NPC dialogue. Ohhhhhh the never ending NPC dialogue that I have sucked myself into (which in all seriousness, I love writing.) But the majority of my time was spent preparing for a local exposition called Sac Gamers Expo. This involved glorious tasks like updating my website and Steam page, remaking a ton of old marketing assets that could use some serious massaging, and most importantly, making a new demo build to showcase at the exposition. Oh, and remaking the announcement trailer since the UI was completely overhauled recently and the old trailer's footage did not reflect the beautiful new UI elements (I cannot express how much more I love the new UI direction, it is utterly sublime. Check out the gorgeous updated trailer below.)
addedThe DetailsIndeed most of my time recently has been spent making sure all my marketing related bases were covered, and I'm finally relieved to say, I think they are for now. As part of this, I had the idea to release this new demo to the wider public as well. This time the demo is available on my website after you subscribe to the newsletter. Evidently this tactic is called a "lead magnet" in the marketing world, giving you a little incentive to opt into my marketing campaigns ;)
changedThe DetailsMy goal with any upcoming email marketing I produce is simple: it should be a little gift to you. I want to bring back the teeniest little bit of that Nintendo Power energy, with guides, character details, quirks and bugs, secrets, etc. It should be interesting and entertaining, because... of course it should be. It's marketing material for a video game and I don't wanna take it too seriously. So if that sounds up your alley, then I encourage you to check out the website and join the newsletter.
addedThe DetailsIf nothing else you can try a brand new slice of Born In Reverie, and if you're so inclined you can reach out to me via email or Twitter and tell me your thoughts!
