Border Clash changes
A new minor version of the game was released. Here’s all the changes:
Game Mechanics
Remove Movement Cost - Movement and Attacks do not cost anything anymore.
Oil to build units - 1 Oil is now required for any unit to build
4 Game Phases - Removing the cost attached to troop movement allowed for splitting up the turn phases into 4 distinct phases (vs. 3 before). and re-ordering them.
The turn phases are now: "Deploy -> Attack -> Battle -> Build"
This allows for a much cleaner, faster and less complex game without losing any of the game's depth
Improvements
The full Border Clash Wiki is now also integrated in interactive Help Pages within the game, access via (?)-Icon on top of the screen
First turn deploy phase now has 3x the time so players can check out the map and think about strategy at the start of the game
Change Timer Settings in Game Creation to "Time per Phase"
Removed Timer for Single Player Mode
Create View Toggle for Unit Display Mode
Slight transparency for UI panel backgrounds
Better Formatting for Country Pick Order Panel
New Scoring Strategy for Multiplayer Leaderboard - Progress Scoring Strategy now gives points for played games as well to reflect "experience" in the game
Bugfixes
Fixed bug where Player Pick mode showed resources double
