addedNEW CIRCUIT, B Stadium - Dawn
addedAvailable in ONLINE MODE! Something new to play, but also. To actually have online have a cycling set of maps, so that at least 1 map is not on the table at a given moment! Variation! Yay!
changedThe map seems simple, and actually rather short! But this is the first map to be 4 whole laps with very fun track elements you haven't seen yet that will challenge your skills. The stadium has not opened just yet! so its a great time to practice before you attract a crowd.
changedREWORKED DRIFT
addedeach style now has their own unique version of the Drift ability! Drifts are now time-based, this drift is much easier to wrap your head around and get those sweet speeds around corners.
addedSprinter styles (Alex), now have a more traditional speed drift that you curve into sideways movement. With a nice burst of speed when held!

With Next Fest underway. It's a good time if ever to try out the demo again! An update is here for it!

Awkwardly enough however, I can't create posts only for the demo (at least in the way I'm doing it)

So I guess I shall put the patch notes for the demo here!

- NEW CIRCUIT, B Stadium - Dawn

Available in ONLINE MODE! Something new to play, but also. To actually have online have a cycling set of maps, so that at least 1 map is not on the table at a given moment! Variation! Yay!

The map seems simple, and actually rather short! But this is the first map to be 4 whole laps with very fun track elements you haven't seen yet that will challenge your skills. The stadium has not opened just yet! so its a great time to practice before you attract a crowd.

- REWORKED DRIFT

each style now has their own unique version of the Drift ability! Drifts are now time-based, this drift is much easier to wrap your head around and get those sweet speeds around corners.

Sprinter styles (Alex), now have a more traditional speed drift that you curve into sideways movement. With a nice burst of speed when held!

Drifter styles (Umii), retain the 'stop and go' style of drifting but with a bit more of a oomph packed into it's design! Since drifters are already... Well.. Drifty in nature, it serves as a way to control that alongside their other aspects!

Overall, drifts are significantly more powerful in raw stats but very much more in-line for intended situations!

(Trackers also have a pretty unique drift, but that's for another day)

- Map changes!

Mainly just to address racer fairness/intentions WITHOUT being lame about it. More or less all the changes are visibly physical, so if you're clever tomfoolery is always an option :3

Kopa Shores, has a few stuck spots fixed up and walls made more reliable! It also now has a new mini path near the U-turn

Lights Edge, smoothed over a few stuck spots. looks like another pillar fell RIGHT on the very spooky, overly power skip spot. And who put a barrier near the start?

Air Temple, shiny gold disks have appeared across certain spots! Added some well needed 'grip' to that final ramp near the end

Adjusted a few charge pad spots to promote fun pathing

- General balancing!

I'm going to keep this extra vague (and probably do so as the game comes around) as to not influence any thoughts directly about our awesome vector masters without sussing them out first! Play who you like, first and foremost!

If you FEEL like they're different, maybe? maybe not? I won't tell (at least this time :troll: )

The drifter's glide ability has been adjusted! The airtime bonus is now effected by the glide

Burn boost's second stage has new effects upon entering and a lingering after-effect even after your boost depletes. It now requires a full hold down to activate, which you COULD activate it before via rapid taps, this was more of a bug than design.

Blink boost's effect has been adjusted, overall it should have the same effect feel.

The drifter's general speed profile has been adjusted to better match the 'high top speed, buildup' description it has

The sprinter's general speed profile has also been adjusted mildly when it comes to turns

Swapped around max speeds on rails for drifter and sprinter

- Various bug fixes/other features
