Boogie Bashers changes
Among other things, this build adds some final versions of sound effects to the game, adds more controller input redundancy, and makes it easier for players to join and start games.
Additions:
Players can now join a local game with any button (except Cancel). Previously only the Start button would join.
Players can also start the game with Select. Previously only the Start button would start the game.
Players can also move their characters with the D-Pad or right thumbstick if they prefer
Changes:
Replaced draft sounds with permanent sounds for player respawn spotlight spawn, spotlight capture progress, spotlight capture, push, speed powerup, shield powerup, super push powerup, and super push impact
Reassigned the top row of face buttons to Push instead of Dance (X/Y or Square/Triangle). The bottom row is still Dance.
Fixes:
Fixed inconsistent sound effect volume
Performance:
Some shadows are more efficient
Known Issues
Online Games Only: If a player leaves or is disconnected in the middle of a game, the spotlights and powerups will stop spawning, essentially deadlocking the game. You will need to Alt+F4 and restart the game. This is the highest priority thing to fix in the next build.
Other:
We are looking to bring in another programmer for more progress over time.
