Very small update- Couple bug fixes

Though the game has been really stable thus far a few days ago it was brought to my attention on the forum that there were a couple of bugs. These were that you could have the necklace during a playthrough after winning the game with the necklace (but you really wouldn't have the necklace). Did that make sense? Well, that's been fixed!

The other bit is that the Barbell- upon picking it up from the chest- was giving Smitty TOO much bonus critical hit damage.. to the tune of +100% vs. the +25% it's supposed to give. Upon saving and quitting (and then restarting) the barbell would revert to the intended crit bonus, but make it seem to the player that something was wrong due to the big damage drop off.

This has also been fixed!

And out there, somewhere, many cats and dogs have also been fixed! Bob Barker would be most pleased indeed. Ah yes, it's been a very tiring week with little sleep I say.

One special note that has nothing to do with games: I found out one of my bass idols, Bones Hillman of Midnight Oil fame, died earlier this week due to cancer. Though I didn't personally know the man, I did have a small e-mail correspondence with him several years back and he seemed like the nicest guy. It's always a bonus when your musical heroes don't turn out to be giant douchebags of course. Aside from Les Claypool (Primus), Bones really inspired me to pick up the bass and try for real. Damn, that was a long time ago.

Earlier this year cancer also took another idol of mine, Rush's Neil Peart. I can't believe he's gone, it doesn't feel real at all. Thank the two of you for all the incredible music you gave to not only myself, but to millions of others throughout the world.

Fuck it all, even Alex Trebek too. I'll take "Crappiest years ever for $400, Alex", wherever you are.

I won't get all sappy or super-preachy, but we're only on this stinking blue ball for a short time so please take a minute or two and look around. Try to appreciate what we have while we have it still. I guess that's all I gotta' say. No more Ghandi-isms from me, promise!
