removedThe challenge will most likely be removed, however if you like to suffer there will probably be some extra optional stuff that make the game harder. My goal is to make the game a fun challenging, not a miserable and boring challenging, if that makes any sense.
addedI've already implemented a bunch of new features and stuff that I am actually pretty proud of, however I don't think I'll show any of it until I've finished a few levels. Maybe I could put a demo out for anyone who wants to try an early version. A bunch more mechanics involving movement and how the levels actually play out are things that I think are very necessary if I want the game to be actually fun, and so those are my main priorities right now. I want the game to be a lot less 1 dimensional, and I think I am getting there.
changedI genuinely think that I can make a fun game, and I don't want the current state of BOK to be a testament to the quality of games I can make. I have written down my entire plan for BOK and I have big dreams, so don't expect it for a really long time. I'm working on this myself, and I'm not professional game designer, I'm just a 15 year old kid who likes to make games in his free time. I want the game to actually be a fun challenge, with interesting mechanics and possibly even a story. For now I'm working on the basic stuff, so I will try to discipline myself and keep working on it.
changedAlmost forgot to mention this, but I will not post this remake as a seperate game. I will just update/replace the current version, and probably delete the current version because I don't think anyone will be too upset about that. I might make a free dlc or something to play the old version if anyone really cares all that much. I want the game to be worth the $3, so that's what I'm working towards. My intention in the original version was never to make a profit, however for some reason I charged money for this terrible game so I believe it is my duty to provide an experience worthy of the price tag. I won't be changing the price.
addedTL;DR: I'm making BOK from scratch so that way it'll actually be fun, so don't expect anything new for a long while.

There hasn't been a BOK Update for a while, and i'm not too sure if anyone's super upset about that. I think it's fair to say that BOK is not a very good game, and as my game development skills grew (and so did my laziness), I came to realize that more and more.
So here's the deal. I've started to make the game completely from scratch, because to be honest the state that it's in probably isn't recoverable. I didn't even know how to code when I started work on it, and I learned as I went on, which is probably one of the reasons why it's so terrible. My goal is to make it an actually fun game, with fun and interesting mechanics, and slightly less miserable to try to beat.

Thank you for being patient, not that you were really hoping for anything, but I promise this game will be fun, I won't be posting it until it is.

P.S. Nothing in the screenshot is final, in fact barely of it is.
