The past couple of weeks have been all about bringing the restaurant to life—both in what you can cook and how the world feels around you.
🍣 New Recipes & Unlock Progression
Added Tako Sashimi and Clam Sashimi
Introduced several new sashimi and nigiri recipes
Added Avocado Gunkan, Spicy Tuna Gunkan, and Ikura Gunkan
Unlocked the basic Veggie Set with proper progression
Veggie nigiri is now unlocked naturally through Arisa
Salmon Set customer orders are now fully localized
Each recipe is more closely tied to character interactions, making unlocks feel like part of the story.
🧑🍳 Characters & 2D Animations
Added animated 2D illustrations for Arisa, Kuroneko, and Yummy
Continued testing and polishing character animations
Fixed character shader issues in the UI
🌗 Day–Night Cycle & Atmosphere
Added an in-game day–night clock
Implemented smooth skybox transitions at 6pm
Fixed lighting behavior throughout the day
Added subtle atmospheric particles
Day–night cycle now starts when you open for business
🚪 World Flow & UX Improvements
Restaurant door now opens properly with restricted surrounding areas
Removed the tutorial end confirmation dialog
Added player performance evaluation (for future systems)
Preloaded animated spritesheets for smoother performance
