Scene Tweaks, AI Updates, Bug Fixes & Hex Swap Rule

Hey everyone! I've added a scene customization system, fixed a few bugs, made some rule tweaks for Checkers and Hex, and improved some of the weaker AI opponents.

I've added a scene customization system, fixed a few bugs, made some rule tweaks for Checkers and Hex, and improved some of the weaker AI opponents. Here's the full rundown:

New Feature: Scene Customization

  • You can now change the look of the game board in real time — no need to quit out to do it.

  • Lighting — Adjust light intensity and color temperature on the fly

  • Materials — Change the colors of pieces and the board independently

  • Undo — Not happy with the result? Just revert with one tap

  • Every game now has its own dedicated scene preset.Steam post image

Game Updates

1. Hex Swap Rule & Checkers Backward Capture Option

  • Hex now supports the Swap Rule, which takes the edge off first-move advantage and keeps things fair.

  • Checkers now has a toggle for whether regular pieces can capture backward — handy for matching the house rules players from different regions are used to.

2. AI Improvements

  • Tuned the AI in a few games to better match their intended difficulty:

  • Hex

  • Checkers

  • Gomoku

3. Visual & Audio Touch-ups

  • Polished up the visual effects and sounds in several games.

4. Localization

  • Fixed a handful of translation errors
