🔧 Physics Rework – Current State of the Game
Hey everyone!
I wanted to use this space to share more details about the current state of the game and explain why there haven’t been any new patches lately.
I’ve been working on a major physics rework, which required rebuilding three core systems from scratch. This not only changed how the game works internally but also broke or outdated many previously implemented mechanics. That’s why the game hasn’t been in a playable state for updates.
📋 The Three Core Systems:
1️⃣ Core Physics System – 80% I redesigned the bike’s physical structure using multiple physical parts. This gives it much more realistic reactions to the environment, but it also broke existing systems: riding, manuals, hops, wallrides, and more.
Now I’m in the process of rebuilding or reworking all of them with a fully physics-based approach. This system is currently at 80% progress. Still pending: wallrides, polish on [b>manuals, and general tuning.
2️⃣ Transition System – 100% This system now works by analyzing the surface of any 3D model, making it way more flexible. Previously, it required splines and specific tags for every ramp, but now it adapts automatically to any shape.
This not only improves gameplay but also makes map creation way easier, letting modders build custom maps with just geometry—no extra setup needed.
It’s finished and ready to publish, though I’ll keep improving it based on community feedback.
3️⃣ Grind System – 70% One of the main goals was to make grinds fully physics-based. Before, the BMX followed a spline with no collision, causing bugs. Now the pegs have real collisions, letting the bike naturally land and slide on ledges.
The system also adapts to the angle of the ledge, making it compatible with any map. Right now, it works only with double pegs. I still need to rebuild trick types like feebles, smiths, etc. It’s currently at 70% progress.

Core Physics System: 80% – Wallrides, manual polishing, general tweaks
Transition System: 100% – Ready to release
Grind System: 70% – Trick rebuild + polish
Thanks so much for your patience and support 🙏 I’m very close to having the game back in a playable state so I can return to regular updates. This rework will drastically improve the gameplay and make custom content much easier to create 🔥
