addedIndie developer Tim Wheatley today announced that Blue Fury, a helicopter combat game paying homage to the action titles of the 16-bit era, is now available to wishlist on Steam.
fixedIn Blue Fury, players take control of a combat helicopter tasked with destroying enemy tanks, neutralizing ground forces, rescuing friendly soldiers and eliminating the threat of enemy missiles. With fuel, ammunition and altitude all demanding attention, players will have to avoid threats from enemy helicopters, tanks, AA rockets, while defending ground and air units in fixed, third and first-person gameplay views.
changedThe game features procedurally generated island terrain across four biomes. In quick mission mode players can fully customize the enemy loadout, where no two maps will be the same, while the thirty-mission campaign offers briefings, handcrafted difficulty and an increasing challenge in an escalating situation. A benchmarking mode, where players can observe the NPCs waging war all on their own, rounds out the package.

Wishlist:

Blue Fury

In Blue Fury, players take control of a combat helicopter tasked with destroying enemy tanks, neutralizing ground forces, rescuing friendly soldiers and eliminating the threat of enemy missiles. With fuel, ammunition and altitude all demanding attention, players will have to avoid threats from enemy helicopters, tanks, AA rockets, while defending ground and air units in fixed, third and first-person gameplay views.

The game features procedurally generated island terrain across four biomes.

Blue Fury will launch with Steam Cloud save support, achievements and a colorblind-friendly minimap option (for my dad).
