BLOODLETTER changes
Thank you so much for checking out the Early Access so far, we’ve gotten a ton of feedback from you and wanted to implement a few changes to the game in time for the Steam Deckbuilder fest. In time for this we also have a new bundle with Master of Piece prepared and live on the BLOODLETTER Steam Page right now.
The next update will be a big one with actual new content so please enjoy these smaller changes while we dive back into creating new content for the game and preparing it for all of you.

Butchers nail: -10 Purity -> -5 Purity
Holy Excrement: +15 Purity -> +20 Purity
Blood Cleanse: -1 Sickness -> -2 Sickness
Weeping Peasants: +25 Health -> +35 Health
Inferno Plume: +7 Purity -> +8 Purity per card discarded
Oath of Balance: -2 Sickness -> -3 Sickness
Misery wyrm: +10 Purity -> +15 Purity
Sullied dreams: +3 Purity -> +4 Purity per card in discard pile
Purity Through Flame: +3 Health -> +4 Health per card in discard pile

Cards: changed unlocking
“Infernal Gate” is now unlocked with “The Corrupting One (easy)”
“Herald of Cures” is now unlocked with “The Corrupting one (Hard)”
“Rebirth” is now unlocked with “The Impaled one (Medium)”
We put exciting cards that do a lot of stats in the early difficulties. More complicated cards are now unlocked at the harder difficulties.
Balancing “The Corrupting one”
Easy:
Reduced required bloodstone extractions from 4 to 3
Purity Thresholds 400, 480, 500, 600 -> 400, 450, 500
Villager start stats: 5 Trust -> 6 Trust
Hard:
nerfed Haunted Stat drain
Balancing “The Impaled one”
Easy:
Reduced required bloodstones extractions from 4 to 3
Medium:
Nerfed Purity Drain
Trust: 4,6,7,8 -> 3,4,5,6
Distrust: 8,9,13,15 -> 7,9,11,13

Bugfixes
Fixed a bug where drawing & discarding cards made the game freeze when the draw pile is empty
Fixed “ivory bell” broken after loading the match
Fixed: Charges from Transmuters were not saved and loaded (Ouroboroi of Greed, Twins of Divine Trial)
Fixed: Soft lock in the Evening when 9 villagers are in distrust and 1 is haunted -> you now skip the evening in this situation
We have gotten a lot of feedback on the overall difficulty and general grindey nature of the game. Because of this we have decided to buff some early game cards to make the easier difficulties faster to play through and allow you to really focus your time on the harder difficulties. Let us know if the game feels better to you after the update.
There’s also been some issues with the readability of the queue UI so we hope the new design adds clarity to who is up next and what their stats actually are.
A few words about the bugs in the game: We take all of the reports very seriously and try to replicate and fix them. However we are a small team of four with only one person’s main task being programming so you can imagine that it’s quite an herculean task for us to find and fix every bug before releasing updates for the game. We understand that it’s incredibly frustrating to spend money on something that doesn’t fully work the way it’s intended but please understand that this isn’t the final state of the game and we are doing the best we can at this moment in time.
In regards to the on launch crash quite a few of you have run into: We still haven’t been able to identify what actually causes this so we haven’t been able to fix it. Please make sure all of your drivers are up to date and keep sharing specifics with us in the meantime. We hope to be able to resolve this soon and are aware of it.
