Repeated intro
Hey all, we just pushed the newest update for BD99: Update 1.1. The main focus for this update was reworking 'endless' mode to make it more challenging and engaging. In addition we also added a few new weapons, perks, and quality of life improvements. Much of this work was done by our new intern Javier. He's a great designer and developer and we look forward to working with him more in the future. You can check out some of his solo work on Itch:

BloodDome99 changes
Endless mode
After ~20 minutes enemies will gradually get tougher
Bosses now drop extra large EXP orbs
Changes to enemy spawn-rates late-game
All previous endless mode scores have been cleared and the scoreboards are empty. Endless mode is much more difficult now and you will not be able to achieve the same scores that were previously possible
Autoaim
Although we still recommend playing mostly with autoaim off we have made some changes to make the option appear earlier and more obviously
Advanced Targeting unlocks sooner
Advanced Targeting is less expensive
Added lobby 'tooltips' to call attention to newly unlocked lobby settings
Weapons and Perks
New Weapon: Money Gun
New Perks: Tractor Beam, Radar, Vortex Grenade
'Dog' reworked: The perk is less expensive and the dog starts off fairly slow/weak but gets faster and stronger over time
'ROI' is more expensive
Flak Gun upgrade 'Passive Flak' behavior changed: it now shoots a blast of flak every second instead of continuously firing individual pieces
Billiards Gun has bigger balls
Other changes
Added more announcer lines
Added/fixed tooltips when you mouse over them in the pause screen. This was in an early version of the game but was (accidentally) disabled at some point during EA
New cosmetics
Some changes to screenshake
Fixes
Added more robust handling of save files. This should lessen or completely prevent the 'corrupted save file' issue reported by a few players. In the rare case of a corrupted save file there are now clear error messages and options to try to repair or delete the corrupted save
Fixed an issue where the perk list could overlap the menu buttons in the pause screen, on ultrawide monitors
Fixed an issue where dps would sometimes display negative numbers
Fixed an issue where enemies would sometimes moonwalk away
Fixed an issue with slaughterhouse scores not saving/showing correctly
Fixed an issue where page up/down would sometimes be disabled when viewing scoreboards
Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented achieving 'singular focus'
