Lore & Memories

The long-awaited lore system has finally arrived.

Memories are now scattered throughout the world for players to discover. Each recovered memory unlocks its corresponding page within the Lore Book, found inside the Codex.

As you progress through the game and uncover these memories, you'll gradually piece together the story of how Bloob arrived in Havenport and learn more about the world around you.

Tutorial Rework

The tutorial has been completely rebuilt with the Challenge System in mind.

Players who complete the tutorial will now receive 50 Challenge Points, providing a strong early boost for both new and experienced Bloobs alike.

The Challenge System

The Challenge System has been sitting in my head for over a year, and there was no better time to finally release it than alongside Version 1.0.

Challenges now exist for every skill in the game, alongside Gameplay, Exploration, and Memory Challenges.

Some of these challenges are completed naturally through gameplay rather than being manually started by the player.

The system launches with:

17,192 total challenges

Challenges for every skill

10 tiers per challenge

Repeatable challenges after completing Tier 10

Challenge milestones

Challenge rewards

Challenge progression upgrades

Whether you're skilling, fighting, exploring, collecting, or simply progressing your Bloob, there's always another challenge waiting to be completed.

Challenge Point Store

Challenge Points can be spent on a variety of powerful upgrades.

One of the most important is Auto Progress, which automatically advances completed challenge tiers into the next tier without requiring manual interaction.

Additional upgrades include:

3 extra challenge tracking slots

Flat XP rewards

Bonus XP Pool rewards

Time Bank purchases

Gold purchases

XP rewards scale with Prestige and become increasingly valuable as your account grows.

Bonus XP Pool rewards are particularly powerful. For example, if an action would normally grant 1,000 XP after all bonuses are applied, the Bonus XP Pool can grant an additional 1,000 XP on top.

Buffs

Attack: 5% increase in accuracy.

Magic: 5% increase in accuracy.

Ranged: 5% increase in accuracy.

Common Swiftness Potion 0.25 to 0.5 run speed.

Uncommon Swiftness Potion 0.5 to 1 run speed.

Swiftness Potion 1 to 1.5 run Speed.

Super Swiftness Potion 1.5 to 2 run speed.

Havenport Store Changes

Dill's Weapons: Added Aeronite Weapons, Necrosis Weapons, and Phantom Weapons.

Gary's Armour: Added Aeronite Armour, Necrosis Armour, and Phantom Armour.

Ash's Ranged Weapons and Ammunition: Added Yew Shortbow, Red Maple Shortbow, Magic Shortbow, Aeronite Arrows, Necrosis Arrows, and Phantom Arrows.

Added Ebonide Armour, Bloodweave Leather Armour, and Bloom Leather Armour.

Pear's Magic Store: Added Imbued Slates from Fire to Plasma, Ashen Armour, Azureweave Armour, Solar Armour, Staff of Verdance, Staff of Radiance, and Staff of Void.

Jarrah's Jewellery Store: Added Ruby Ring, Ruby Necklace, Diamond Ring, and Diamond Necklace.

Nigel's General Store: Added Necrosis Pickaxe, Phantom Pickaxe, Necrosis Axe, Phantom Axe, Necrosis Lens, and Phantom Lens.

Ned's Fishing Store: Added Necrosis Rod, Phantom Rod.

Looking Forward

Version 1.0 marks the end of Early Access, but it is not the end of development.

Bloobs Adventure Idle will continue to receive updates, new content, new challenges, additional lore and memories, balance improvements, and entirely new progression systems in the future.

Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue with crit chance purchases.

Fixed an issue with Auto Tracking not correctly identifying the required item for the Brindle Hyena.

Corrected a typo on the Decorate Foraging Nodes UI (Homesteading).

Fixed an issue with Auto Fishing failing when running out of bait.

Fixed a Homesteading level-up message at level 175 that incorrectly stated players could grow Christmas trees.

Fixed a Bonus XP display bug with Thieving.
