Today we want to give you an overview of what you can expect to see in the full version of Block Factory once it releases on July 11!

Learn the Ropes

Your journey begins with the Tutorial. It’s a quick and friendly introduction that teaches you the basics, from using the different controls to understanding how Block Factory works. It’s designed to get you up to speed without overwhelming you, so you can jump straight into the rest of the game with confidence.

Explore the Archipelagos

The world of Block Factory is made up of five Archipelagos. Each Archipelago contains several Islands, and on each Island, you’ll find Dioramas built around a specific theme. For example, a Diorama set in a farm environment might ask you to deliver a scarecrow figurine.

To complete a Diorama, you’ll need to deliver the correct figurine using the different pieces available to you. As you progress, you’ll earn blocks by completing Dioramas. These blocks let you unlock new Islands and gradually expand your journey across the Archipelagos.

Optional Goals, Earn Rewards

Each Diorama sets a specific objective, usually requiring you to deliver the figurine at a certain rate measured in units per minute. When you hit those goals, you’ll earn coins, which can then be used to upgrade your machines or unlock entirely new ones.

Upgrades might boost performance, like increasing the stacking speed to x1.5. New machines, such as the Stacker 3.0, open up new possibilities by letting you combine more parts at once. These enhancements are key to keeping up as the figurines become bigger and more demanding.

Create and Share

For players who want to go off the beaten path, Creative Mode offers a space to build whatever you like. The Editor gives you access to every block in the game, so you can design your own figurines from scratch. You can also create custom Dioramas using one of 21 layout presets, and decorate them with any of the 55 available props to match the look and feel you’re going for.

Once you’re happy with your creation, you can share it on the Steam Workshop for others to enjoy, or browse the community’s creations and try building someone else’s design.

Whether you’re aiming for production efficiency or expressing your creativity, Block Factory gives you the tools to make it happen. We can’t wait to see what you build next!
