Whats good fam!
First of all thank you to everyone that checked out blitz. I've worked on it for countless hours so seeing people enjoy it is an awesome feeling. I first started it right out highschool and it has come a long way. I built this game in a way that it will be really easy to add new levels, enemies, characters, etc. So I plan on adding boatloads of content once its polished up. Here on some things I plan on adding.
Upcoming Additions:
Inventory System - A grid inventory that makes managing weapons and gear much more satisfying. It isn't "needed" but it will add lot more capability to items.
Crafting - This ties into the inventory system, but my idea is that you will be able to find different workbenches and anvils around the dungeon where you can make stuff. From weapons to potions, the crafting system will add even more depth.
Steam Workshop - Workshop support would allow anyone to add content to the game! It would be similar to terraria where people could add mods for graphics, content, and QL. This would make my job much easier and allow each player to truly build the game!
Multiplayer - This alone would be a game-changer. You could fight bosses with your friends, fight other people in different pvp modes (battle royale, team battle, FFA). This would be a major update. I want to focus on bringing single player to its full potential first.
UI Overhaul - I know the ui looks like a 10 year old slapped it together lol. I plan on adding a proper theme and style to make it more visually pleasing.
Gameception - Arcade / Gambling machines you could interact with in the dungeons. You would be able to play the slots, tetris, and other minigames in between waves of enemies.
RPG Elements - Way more npcs that can sell or craft unique items, and give you quests to get yo gold up.
Open World - This would be very similar to terraria. You could procedurally generate a massive world to explore and live in. Build a base and fight all of the enemies/bosses from the dungeon.
Horror Mutator - This is already in the dev build. It would add jumpscares and other horror elements to the game. It will give you more leaderboard rating aswell.
Boatload of content - Hundreds of enemies, weapons, items. A bunch of game modes, characters, levels, traps, interactable objects... I could go on for a while with this lmao...
I don't have any specific dates for any of this, but these are a few ideas that testers and I have. Understand that it will take some time. I have already put 16hr days into this game and I have no problem with doing more. Game development is known for taking a while. But thats fine! It will allow players to come back to it and have a fresh experience.
