  • UI and audio
changedThe man in distress, once found, is bandaged by you and begins walking, providing verbal directions for you to follow him back to his village. While following the man, if you get too far away from him, he will continue giving audible dialogue to guide you toward the village. A Top 20 Completionists leaderboard has been added to the game for players with the fastest full playthroughs of the current game mode. Additional calibrations to the spatial audio have also been made for even greater accuracy and immersion. The stick figures representing you and the villager are now drawn with a marker-like effect to make them easier on the eyes. Footsteps, bush steps, swim strokes, water ambience, and wind ambience now use a process called Granular Synthesis to make them sound infinitely unique. Lastly, the game now uses a prism-like image encoding method to reduce download size, since the FDTD simulation data is very large and would normally make the game exceed 10 gigabytes.
