What's Our Game All About?
I believe that anyone who has read the brief description of the game understands the basic plot. The story revolves around Detective David Fox, a police officer living a somewhat reckless but talented life in his profession. While Fox is busy with his everyday work, battling the drug trade, an unknown serial killer emerges in the city. This killer targets only girls who are personally acquainted with the main character.
As the game progresses, Fox's colleagues begin to suspect him of these murders and eventually accuse him of committing them. Fox goes on the run, and he must find the real killer, save as many potential victims as possible, avoid the police, and clear his name. The accusation against Fox turns his world upside down, and players will witness the transformation of the main character and, most importantly, make decisions during the investigation.
What sets Blamed apart from other similar projects?
Story. I envisioned the game as a detective series where characters are revealed gradually throughout the narrative, often with motivations that conflict with the main character's interests.
Choice. I want to provide players with the freedom of role-playing. The game will feature a karma system, and choices and actions will be based on the player's previous decisions. Fox doesn't have to be either 100% good or 100% evil.
As indicated by the previous two points, endings. There will be only three possible final teasers, but the circumstances leading to each ending will vary greatly due to a reason I'll describe below.
Replayability. Effort is required to ensure that beloved characters reach the end alongside the player. There's no guarantee that all your favorite characters will survive, but the possibility of saving them all exists. To do so, you must pay attention to the plot, the behavior and motivation of the characters, and immerse yourself in the storytelling. I know this approach may not appeal to everyone, and most authors don't do it this way, but it's my vision, so if you want to see everyone through to the end, use your head.
Graphics. We have a small team, and only one designer is working on the scenes, but we strive to match the quality of major and popular projects in the same genre.
Girls. There will be many girls, each unique. Yes, there will be a few primary female characters with whom the player will build relationships, but there will be numerous encounters with secondary female characters. That's just how Fox is. However, you will always have the freedom to decide whether to engage in intimate encounters with any character. I repeat, all decisions depend solely on you.
Intimacy. We strive to make it diverse, matching each girl's character. Each individual intimate scene is not just for aesthetic pleasure but also reveals the relationships between characters.
We continue working on the first season, which will consist of three episodes with a total playtime of approximately five hours. Very soon, we will release a new demo version in which we have completely redesigned two scenes, adding new renders and animations. It will be available by the end of this month.
