Welcome to another development update for the game!

Let's begin this update with some exciting news:

Blacksmith: Ignite the Forge launches July 14!

That's right, the release date is that close! Make sure to ready your hammers and heat the forge

As our team works on the final touches of the game, the forge grows eager for your arrival. We’ve worked tirelessly to provide you with the right tools, and so it is time for you to write the next chapter of dwarven legacy.

New stuff in the Forge

With over 18 new (27 altogether) weapons for you to smith , sharpen, and enchant, nothing will stand in the path of your warriors. Take a peek at some of them!

But there is more! You can now rebuild the forge to its former glory. Not only that. You can go beyond that! Craft meteor templates to upgrade the forge. Unlock all your possibilities. Face dangers both on the surface as well as from beneath the ground!

As you go deeper into the mines, you’ll encounter 6 new ores: Orichalcum, Cobalt, Titanium, Zinc, Platinum, and Lead.

Bosses

Wouldn’t you agree that every story needs a proper fight after achieving certain milestones? The final battle can’t be just against some lackeys. Allow us to introduce you to some of our Big Bads.

Forge renovations

As the game moved more toward dwarves, we realized that the steampunk aesthetic no longer fit the game that Ignite the Forge became. We decided to renovate the original forge, and while the layout of the rooms remained unchanged, it now feels much more in place.

NPCs never looked so good

While the first graphics of the enemies were fine, we felt that we could do more. Without further ado, let us introduce you to the porks’ new clothes. And rats… AND our new race of enemies: the Abyssals!

Don’t worry, though. Our foes aren’t the only ones. It’s only fair that we take care of the brave warriors, too.

Improved skills

Speaking of the warriors, during our development journey, we realized that the previous skills and leveling system didn’t do them justice. After experimenting with different ideas, we’ve made skills more meaningful. No longer just passive effects, now every skill has its own unique move as well as ways for you to tailor it to your team’s needs.
