I’d like to explain why I chose to launch Black Submarine in Early Access. This decision is crucial to ensure that the game meets your expectations and delivers the best experience possible. Here are the main reasons for this choice:

  1. Early Feedback from Players: Early Access allows me to directly involve the community in the development process. Your feedback is crucial for identifying issues, adjusting gameplay, and implementing improvements.

  2. Building a Community: With the game in Early Access, I can build an engaged and passionate community. You’ll be part of the development process, helping to shape the game and creating a dedicated fanbase.

  3. Adjusting Expectations: Everyone understands that the game is a work in progress and constantly evolving. This allows me to adjust expectations and work on suggestions and criticisms to enhance the game.

  4. Mitigating Risks for the Final Release: Continuous feedback and regular updates will help ensure a more polished and stable final release, reducing the risk of issues at launch.

Duration of Early Access

I plan to keep Black Submarine in Early Access for approximately 6 months, with a maximum of 1 year, depending on development progress and community feedback.

Differences Between Early Access and Full Release

The full version of the game will feature 4 distinct game modes:

1. Race against time to rescue the lost treasure of the pirate Sereya.

2. Use your aim to save the mermaid Nicole from a curse.

3. Withstand the hordes of enemies in the Mariana Trench.

4. Navigate with precise movements in the seas of Poseidon Luke.

Currently, the first mode is complete. Modes 2 and 4 are partially finished, and Mode 3 is in the early stages of development.

Community Involvement

I plan to keep open and active communication with you. Regular updates will be provided, and I’ll be attentive to feedback received through Steam forums, social media, and Discord. Your participation is essential to creating the best possible game.

Thank you for your support and for being part of this exciting development process!

Best regards, Fabiano Shark
