The wilderness has been still. Now it is alive. This update introduces a living wildlife ecosystem to Black Skies: animals that breed, spread, migrate, and react to you. Not scenery, not spawns on a timer. A real population you have to read, respect, and survive off of. A world that breathes Rabbits and deer now live as real populations that grow and move between regions on their own, whether you are watching or not. Herds read like herds: rabbits gather in warrens, deer travel in bands, and no two animals look quite the same. Trap and survive Craft and set snare traps, then leave them to work while you range elsewhere. But the land remembers. Over-trap an area and the rabbits thin out, and you will have to give it time to recover. Sustainable trapping is now a real decision. From catch to meal Butcher your catch in the field with a blade, cook the meat, and eat to stay alive. The full survival loop is closed. They can hear you Prey sense you and bolt or freeze the moment you close in, and your own footsteps make noise the animals react to. Move carefully.
