Black Powder Magic changes
Hey everyone!
We’re excited (and honestly a bit nervous) to share that the first-ever release from Teekond Stuudio is here — the Black Powder Magic demo is now live on Steam!
This is your first chance to jump in, try the core gameplay, and help shape what comes next.
A quick heads-up
We’re developing this game alongside our full-time jobs, so the full release date is still uncertain. This demo is an important step for us — and your feedback will directly influence how the game evolves.
We’re actively working on improvements and plan to release patch updates to iron out bugs, improve balance, and refine the experience.
If you run into issues or have suggestions, please share them — we’re listening.
What to expect
Black Powder Magic is a fast-paced 2D roguelite shooter where:
Precision, timing, and decision-making matter
Every run challenges you with different objectives and enemies
Your build (weapons, grenades, ultimates, passives) completely changes how you play
Skill-based combat puts everything in your control — no autopilot
About leaderboards (for now)
The demo does NOT include Steam Leaderboards yet.
But that doesn’t mean you can’t compete: Take screenshots, share and brag. Old-school competition style.
Thank you
This is a huge milestone for us as a small team. If you enjoy the demo, please consider: Leaving feedback, reporting bugs, sharing the demo with friends and wishlisting.
Every bit helps us keep going.
Now go out there and
Adapt. Improve. Overcome.
The Infinite is spreading… and this is just the beginning.
