Patch Notes - Equipment presets, crit stats, prospecting upgrades & more!

Added:

• Equipment Presets

  • The ability to unlock multiple equipment preset tabs

    • Each tab gives the ability to quickly swap between equipment sets (includes 6 clothing pieces + jewelry)

    • Each tab also acts as storage for those items (items in tabs which are not in use do not go in inventory)

  • Added quest for unlocking 2nd equipment preset tab - Requires lvl 15 in any profession

    • We will add more sources for even more equipment tabs in the future

• Profession Crits

  • Added a new stats “Crit Chance” and “Crit Multiplier” for each profession which affect chance and strength of crits while doing profession actions

    • Crits apply additional progress/power to the action but additional EXP is not rewarded for bonus power. This provides players for interesting choices in gearing with being able to optimize for more power with the tradeoff of less EXP.

  • Added rings for all professions at T3 which grant profession “Crit Chance”.

    • More sources of “Crit Chance” and “Crit Multiplier” stats will be added in the coming updates

• Ability to change font sizes across the UI without scaling up the UI

• Prospecting Changes

  • When prospecting you can now see a small window which shows the state of the hunt including other players involved

  • Added active compass mode which will show a constant updating compass attached to your player

  • If you are prospecting in a group and other players are ahead of you, you can follow an active compass to find the next node more easily

  • When the resource is revealed you will now have an active compass making it easier to find

  • When prospecting you can now always see a distance indicator on the compass showing how far away the next node is

• Empire Buff Building - Statue of Life

  • Provides a health + active health regen buff in exchange for Hexite Energy

    • Built from a rare drop

• New Quest to unlock the bask emote

• New Quest to unlock Wagon II

• Added a rare drop to Hexite Deposits that gives the user +1 Hexite Gathering Power permanently

• Re-added Gothic and Cozy Furniture sets with Tiers updated:

  • Cozy furniture set is now Tier 5

  • Gothic furniture set is now Tier 9

Changed

• Increase the duration of the map location highlight that appears when hyperlinked coordinates are clicked.

• Items for quests will no longer be taken automatically. You will now be prompted for approval before turning in quest items.

• Players can now turn in items for quests directly from their deployable inventory.

• Premium emotes now tradeable

• UI Improvements

  • Chat draggable height is now uncapped

  • Chat size persists between sessions and dimension changes

• Added quest panel opacity setting

• World Labels can now be enabled to show on mouseover in settings

• Hexite Energy can now be withdrawn from the Empire status screen if you have the permission

• Added two new empire rank permissions:

  • Harvest Empire Resource - Allows for extracting Hexite Deposits (and any other future empire resources)

  • Withdraw Hexite Energy - Allows for ranks other than Emperor to withdraw energy from the empire

Fixed

• Further fixes to Star stone lighting in interiors

• Fixed an issue where quest reward item lists wouldn't resolve when entering the player’s inventory

• Fixed progression UI having translation text characters (I18n)

• Emotes which are not unlocked are no longer visible in the abilities window

• Clockwork lamp now has 10 light radius

• Cleaned up some quest dialogue

• Uneven Horn Mask now uses the right icon

• Deployable inventory now works correctly when walking away and back in range

• Jakyl Den extraction now scales with construction power

• Fixed some issues with quest state when transferring regions

• Fixed some issues with empire siege state that could cause issues

• Fixed an issue with claiming completed crafts locking up the UI

• Removed duplicate UI buttons for siege / mark / unmark

• Fix being able to mark / unmark for siege an active tower

Known Issues

• Clicking or dragging equipment onto a non-active equipment tab will swap/equip to the equipped tab not the active one

• The current UI window for the prospecting is going to be improved

• In the future, we’ll be adding hotkeys for switching between equipment tabs
