A Message to the Community

Hi everyone,

it has been an exciting first half of 2026 for us and we want to say thank you to the community!

Bird Game 3 has been a wild ride, ups and downs, but in the end we are proud of what we accomplished in such short amounts of time. Bird Game 3 was the first commercial release for us as a team and we learned a lot on the journey.

However there are still some things that did not work out as well as we had hoped. Reviews have been mixed due to different expactations from you guys. This is partly our fault, since we did not communicate with you enough during the development phase and also because in the end, the project was probably too ambitious for the little time we had. Unfortunately, Bird Game 3 did not generate enough income to let us provide further content for you, which is why we will be focusing on other projects right now.

We also miscalculated the price for the game, and even with the release discount, you guys told us it was too expensive. We heard that and will reduce the price accordingly. Please understand, that we can't provide BG3 completely free of charge, since as an online game, it will produce running costs on our side.

Now there is only one thing left, and that is: THANKS for the craziest 6 months of our developer career! What a crazy trend this was. And one last thing: we believe that the Bird Game phenomenon is one of a kind and we are really excited about the other Bird Games that are being cooked right now. Some of you pointed out Birds of War (quite fiercly you might say xD) but there is also a smaller but very lovely project from our friends at Woodfinch who are developing OUTHATCHED. Go check both ot them out and send our regards!
