What is Beyond Enemy Lines 2? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jp68ie58agY How difficult is this game? Very difficult! Beyond Enemy Lines 2 provides no handholding and punishes your mistakes with a fast ingame death. It takes time to master the weapon handling and know how to use the terrain to your advantage. Being difficult is a core component of this game! There are some options to tweak the difficulty mode, but even then it's not comparable to a Mainstream game. Is this game like Call of Duty? No! If you are looking for a experience simmilar to Call of Duty, then Beyond Enemy Lines 2 is not what you are looking for. Sure you can have a ton of action packed gameplay, but this requires a very large amount of skill and is definitly not easy! Is there any Replayability? Yes! All missions have multiple ways to complete them, optional mission objectives, assignements and a final mission rating. You can compare your mission stats with the traget stats and your personal best. The AI is not scripted and can always take a different patrol path, reacts different for each combat situation. Every time you try a mission, something will be different. Why is the Multiplayer in Early Access? Because this game is developed by a single person. Initially it was planned to release the Multiplayer post launch as a free update but it's now in a that stable stat that I don't want to hold it back. But as I'm the only person working on this game, it's hard even with several Beta's and stress tests to get a feeling how it will perform in the public. In all tests there where no gamebreaking bugs, but please do not expect a entirly bug free experience at this point. Which gamemodes are available? Singleplayer Multiplayer -> Conquest, Team-Deathmatch and Coop How different is this game from the first Beyond Enemy Lines? Everything in Beyond Enemy Lines 2 is developed from the ground up new. Everything got reworked and improved, features replaced (like the map computer). While Beyond Enemy Lines 2 keeps the feeling of the original, it's a far more immersive experience in larger and more complex missions, better AI and even more freedom with the weapon customizations. Do I need to know Beyond Enemy Lines 1? No. Is this game a spiritual successor of Project IGI? Yes and No! While the first Beyond Enemy Lines was designed as a spiritual successor of Project IGI, Beyond Enemy Lines 2 takes a step further. Missions are larger and more open and do not only focus in infiltrating a compound. However, the roots to Project IGI are still very much noticable. Do you have any other questions?
