Good afternoon y'all!
It's been a blast over on the discord and seeing how people play Besmirch. Lots of new discoveries.
Some of those new discoveries are bugs, so I'll let you know what's fixed!
Bug fixes:
Evil Player in Tutorial was getting stuck on table/etc. No more! He sometimes seems to move through things now. Which is odd, but much better than totally stuck. (This will need to be tested more as it could technically affect Depraved and Evil Scarecrows).
There was an issue calculating profits on end day screen. No more!
Piano should be able to be "picked up" now. I thought it was funny that you could move a piano into your house, but couldn't pick it up lol. Definitely a bug, but I think that bug is a real life problem too. My real life piano won't budge.
Krecik sometimes mentioned "demo" text.
Cooking recipe notes should now be able to be "learned" on pickup of note. It was a saving issue.
There is a loading screen when going down into Sewer/Mansion dungeons.
CRT checkbox wasn't working on front screen in some cases.
Beet Festival games no longer get stuck for controllers. I believe this issue was due to Inventory being "openable" in mini-games. If it persists, let me know.
Thief Knife occasionally was not "giftable" to the thief. I made an extra case that should make sure it works.
Agatha quest shouldn't occur after three days of darkness.
Farmer Jeb quest shouldn't occur more than once. This is complicated so if it persists, let me know.
Adjusted some windows for Old Couple. The Thief was climbing through the wall.
Farlow knife is further from cabinet to avoid clicking the cabinet instead of thief knife.
Minor grammar changes. The Big Rat must not have went to school. He misspelled "decadently".
Player shouldn't end up "swimming" when crossing the bridge on the Farm.
New things
Controllers can now toggle left/right tabs in Inventory UI using right trigger/left trigger, or right button/left button.
Supply value from crops has been adjusted for balance. (Lower generally).
Hunger Value for food has been adjusted for balance. (Lower generally).
Upgrading Tools/etc at Blacksmith now displays a cost. Cost changes by tier (copper, iron, gold).
A lot of changes so if you notice any issues regarding these bug fixes, let me know and I'll fix ASAP!
I'm thinking of adding a dog. Maybe a cat too? Pet Pig? We will see. I think that would be a good teaser for Animal Husbandry. Suggestions would be helpful.
