Besiege changes
While most categories celebrate the biggest new releases of the year, there’s one that feels like it was made for games like ours, the “Labor of Love” award.
This year marked Besiege’s 10th anniversary. Ten years of building absurd contraptions, watching them explode, and immediately creating them over and over again. We’ve launched major anniversary updates, built an entire VR version, released the game on mobile, and are hard at work on our next ambitious expansion.
But Besiege isn’t just something we’ve built. It’s something we’ve built together. To the workshop creators, the Discord community, the YouTube engineers, and most importantly, you, the players, you’ve kept this community alive, inventive, and absolutely unhinged in the best possible way. Every update we release, every little detail we polish, is for you, because you’ve made Besiege more than just a physics game. You’ve made it a world.
So if you’ve ever laughed at a machine mishap, marveled at someone’s ridiculous creation, or just enjoyed destroying a castle in the most unnecessarily complex way imaginable. We’d be honored if you nominated Besiege for the “Labor of Love” award in this year’s Steam 2025 Awards. ❤️
Thank you for ten incredible years, and trust us, we’re nowhere near done.
Much love,
The Spiderling Team
