Hello everyone, and thank you for playing Berserker Girl! Today's update focuses on enhancing combat feel and responsiveness. I've added new hit-stop and dodge mechanics to make every strike and evasion more satisfying.
1. Hit-Stop System
A brief slow-motion effect now triggers when your attacks connect with enemies, adding weight and impact to every hit.
This effect only activates when the player strikes enemies, not when taking damage, ensuring smooth gameplay flow.
2. Perfect Dodge
Successfully dodging through an enemy attack now triggers a Perfect Dodge, rewarding skilled play with stamina recovery and a dramatic slow-motion effect.
A ghost trail afterimage effect appears on your character during Perfect Dodge, providing clear visual feedback for your successful evasion.
Sound effects and particle effects accompany each Perfect Dodge for added impact.
3. Bug Fixes and Improvements
- Enemy RotationFixed a bug where enemies near moving platforms would face the wrong direction instead of looking left or right.
- Water Fall EffectsAdded splash sound effects and character voice lines when falling into water, along with adjusted respawn timing for a more natural feel.

Berserker Girl will continue to evolve! Here are the features currently in development:
Healing flask system (rechargeable recovery item).
Enhanced save system with checkpoint improvements.
New movement mechanics including slide and improved jumping.
New enemy types and expanded combat options.
