Berserk Mode changes
The 'CLASS' Update is now live!
What's changed:
CLASS SYSTEM
This update features a new class system and reworked loadout page. Select From 3 playable classes: Berserker, Brigand and Stalwart. Each class has 3 starting abilities which can be upgraded in the safe room. Each class also has 3 additional abilities, 1 of which is unlocked when another ability reaches level 4.
UPDATED LOADOUT
Armor and helm categories have been removed from the loadout, with some most of these becoming artifacts. Maximum artifacts can now be increased to 5. There are 2 new loadout options: Wizard's cloak and Eye Patch.
IMPROVED MOUSE LOOK / AIM
Mouse aiming has been overhauled, and now operates independent of framerate. This should address issues such as stuttering aim/ visual lag, over/under mouse sensitivity, and play nicer with certain vsync/ refresh rate configurations.
MINOR QOL
Updated some graphics and transitions to better support ultra-wide and alternate aspect ratios.
BUG FIXES
Fixed a major issue which allowed the player to sprint/be pushed through walls - Fixed a bug with level generation that would block the path on Exit shaft - Fixed an bug that would stop the Homonculus reviving the player properly on zone 6/7 - Minor performance enhancements
WHAT'S NEXT?
Next up I'll be adding more content to the game. While nothing is set in stone and I'm always trying to adapt to what people are enjoying, the next phase should include:
More Alternate stages - More shop items - Upgrades to arenas/ level variety
After that, I'll be looking at:
2 more classes - Tutorial level - Difficulty selection + 'Descension' mode
