The Wiggly Update

The Wiggly Update has some new features to give you more control over the game's look and feel, AND it adds a lot more bobble in the gobble. Here's our full change-log so you can see what's going on and off!

addedThe Wiggly Update has some new features to give you more control over the game's look and feel, AND it adds a lot more bobble in the gobble. Here's our full change-log so you can see what's going on and off!
addedNew Features -added head bobble, repeated sound effects and gradual text writing to dialogue to make it feel more interesting. - New Input System: Redone, should make it easier to rebind controls and make it easier to play with gamepad. With this change, menu is now rebound to t by default. -added specific use command for talking to NPCs -added blank maps to help guide the player after story events -added option for attack boxes -added option for skipping dialogue -added option for wacky text -added option for resolution changes in game -Human characters, bosses and some other characters have color now to be in tune with story
addedQuality of Life Changes -added more post dialogue explanation boxes -edited fonts to be clearer -cut some tutorial dialogue to make tutorial faster. -a lot of small dialogue changes to make things clearer and to fix some confusing phrasing -decreased the volume of some sound effects to make feel more similar to others -added extra audio filter to stop audio levels going up too high. -added an extra save file so you could have one of every save file -made it so AI won't do random attacks during cutscene (not that you could be hurt) -edited values on ramps to make it smoother to walk up. -changed attack boxes setup to be easier to see-added scaling of attack boxes based on damage dealt, amount healed, exp gained, money picked up -added a minimum damage value for hurt animation to play -changed camera zoom, how quickly it follows you and how much it will let you drift -changed details menu to show money icons instead of money names -changed money to show whole name when picked up, no longer just initials -Altered the form of some menus to make it easier to digest -Added option to use left in right in some menu areas for quicker use.

Beast -made the hitbox of slash bigger and the amount it throws you down less to be easier to use -made the hitbox of dinotail easier to see and a bit bigger -made the hitbox of uppercut bigger. Earth -made boulder minimum speed to do damage less, to hopefully make it more useful. -changed mudtoss angle to make it easier to hit -changed landslide to last less long and go less far be less overpowered - changed size scaling of boulder and mountain to be less big on certain Beraltors -made stalagmite last longer, decreased knock up on it. -fixed mountain attack bug causing Beraltors to fly up instead of fall down Electric -made minimum time before teleporting with spark -made Lightning bigger and easier to hit, but lowered value of upgraded hit -made it so atom would no longer block your movements -made it so you can’t turn while charging -fixed bug where the laser sounds were playing correctly Ice -adjusted snowball to make it easier to use and fixed a bug where its damage and knockback would scale infinitely - made it so icicle fires automatically at full charge. -made it so you cant turn while charging freeze Fire -can no longer change direction while use flamethrower -made flame shield damage higher Water -can no longer change direction while using hose -made it so fireball has a minimum time and won't disappear immediately on small Beraltors. -surf launch speed is less --puddle leaves a slippery area and now hurts -hydrozone now does damage over time -increased size of splash Air -changed speed of boomerang and fixed bug that made it have initial velocity of 0 -decreased max speed of rush so you cant go so fast to go through walls -increased size of soar hitbox and made it shoot you up less -made tornado a bit easier to control Plant -fixed bug that would cause you to get hit by leach or root but not get hurt -fixed a ton of bugs relating to treant - decreased damage on thorns -made vine easier to hit Human -switched Bottle and club attacks -made hitbox of spear last longer on hit -made arrow’s damage and knockback scaling less insanely high -fixed a graphical bug with cannon

Bug Fixes -fixed rock platform falling -fixed some sound effects not being affected decreasing sound effect volume -fixed bug when selecting multiplayer from home screen -fixed bug where some map sections would show wrong entrances available -fixed a bug where if you sequence broke you could accidentally soft lock yourself in Froud’s tower -fixed a bug in frouds area where you could have a story event happen multiple times -fixed a bug in air area where a story event could be skipped by accident -fixed bug that allowed some story events to happen multiple times -Fixed bug in feed menu where if you fed the exact amount to level up it wouldn’t work -fixed bug where some Beraltors could get stuck mid platform -fixed bug where some Beraltors would occasionally just clip through platform with no reason -fixed bug where nautlice couldn’t jump on platforms -fixed bug where some attacks collider would count as player colliders and extend their hitboxes causing them to get hurt by other attacks
